748Adam E92 335

Postby 748adam » Wed Oct 26, 2016 2:43 pm

Model: E92 335
Colour: Jet Black
Year: 2007

Hi Guys,
As some of you know I bought a 2007 E92 335i on Sunday. Big difference in terms of performance compared to the 330!, unfortunately the only pictures I have are from when I stopped for fuel after picking her up. (I have a feeling this will be a regular occurrence  . Not had chance to clean her or start modding, that will come this weekend a long with a load of pictures!

I will be swapping my brakes and wheels onto my E92 as well as a whole host of other mods :D

I'll get more pictures up ASAP, hopefully have the wheels swapped by the weekend.
Performance wise it's in a different league, the drive is nice with no rattles bangs or knocks, the cic idrive takes a bit of getting used to but once you know it it's easy.

Don't know about the suspension yet jay, after the experience with the BC coilovers and hearing the e92's are very picky about suspension, although I have seen BMW did there own aftermarket performance suspension,

Finally got round to giving her her first clean today, badly needed, the clay bar turned a very funny colour but it's all sorted now, found some deep stone chips that need touching up and overall it needs a very deep machine polish but for now it looks presentable.
I also found the locking wheel nut so I can swap the CSL wheels over soon!

Thanks mate, I'm going to be fitting my CSL wheels off my current e46 330ci onto it and hoping that with some new bell housing and brackets my brakes will swap too.

Touch.what brakes you putting on. I was toying with new discs and pads apparently drilled ones collect debris and can crack not sure how true that is as on the M3 that's stsndard

FYI you will have to get your existing brackets modified or new ones made up.

Yellowspeed won't supply them individually - I enquired to see if there was a possibility of my E36 one's going on something else but its no dice!
