I don't think the photobucket situation has helped either but it is around about that time where everone hibernates and plans for next year.

Re: Brads BMW E46 M3

Nope Wheel calipers are silver. Bit against the bright colours stuff. Been there done that, prefer this to be a bit reserved and look oem if at all possible.
Gotta be black or silver then

Do you have any other colours going on with the car?

Re: Dying leather, who's done it ?

erm..... no idea, I just rang them and told them what I was wanting to do, and went with what they recommended.
Also another piece of advise, I filtered my dye before applying with the air brush, you'd be amazed at the particles of crap that get trapped in the bottles!.

Re: Dying leather, who's done it ?

I bought 2ltrs I recall, and still had 90% of one bottle left, I changed colour from kiwi to imola red and yeah, just layer it till it's all covered, I think it took 3 coats of dye and 3 lacquer coates to ensure all was good

Re: Dying leather, who's done it ?

Yeah, one of those 'glad I did it but never again jobs' Very messy (I used a compressor and air brush which made it a lot easier) like any paint work the key is in the preparation. The kiwi interior suffers really badly with lacquer failure so ALL the lacquer must be taken off before dying. Try to g...
